Kuwait Hospital Committed to Supporting the Ministry of Health Part of Its Corporate Social Responsibility
Non COVID-19 positive patients to be treated at Kuwait Hospital
Kuwait City – June 1, 2020 : Part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) towards the State of Kuwait, Kuwait Hospital is committed to supporting the Kuwait’s Ministry of Health (MoH), by giving designated areas of the hospital facility to patients of the pediatric department for Al-Adan Hospital, therefore taking the pressure off governmental hospitals while they COVID-19 pandemic, in return Kuwait hospital will continue to receive all other cases.
Kuwait Hospital is supporting the MoH manage the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the State of Kuwait reinforcing Kuwait Hospital’s commitment to serve the Kuwaiti community.
Kuwait’s Ministry of Health, has built a robust health sector, and one that can withstand situations that the country is currently facing. In putting together, a strategic response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the MoH has called upon several partners in the wider health sector to play their part. Kuwait Hospital has certainly answered the call and is supporting the State of Kuwait as part of its strong CSR towards the community.
Kuwait Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Robert Ball expressed, “We are delighted to be part and to support the Ministry of Health of Kuwait in their plan to remove COVID-19 from Kuwait. Kuwait Hospital will be providing extended capacity to help relieve the pressure on Governmental Hospitals and in doing so we are proud to be able to make this contribution.”
Kuwait Hospital management extended its full suite of resources to assist the MoH and this includes the Internal medicine and Gastroenterology department, Gynecology department, General Surgery department, Laboratory, Radiology department, Pediatric department, Anesthesiology department, the pathology department Heart, Diabetic & Diabetic Foot Diseases department, management, services working together to deliver the commitment covered by the agreement. Kuwait hospital operated under GHP, a leading international Swedish healthcare network provider is a private multi-specialty hospital, with over 100 beds.
