
Dr. Hussain is an experienced Clinical Microbiologist with expertise in clinical microbiology, infectious diseases, infection control, and antimicrobial stewardship. He currently serves at Kuwait Hospital, where he also chairs the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee and Infection Control Committee.
He has extensive experience across several leading hospitals in Kuwait and plays an active role in national initiatives addressing antimicrobial resistance. He also contributes to medical education as a Clinical Tutor for the Kuwait Board of Clinical Virology and at Abdullah Al-Salem University.
Dr. Hussain holds a Kuwait Board in Clinical Microbiology and a Doctor of Medicine from Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain.
