Dr. Shatha Alnajdey is consultant radiologist in Kuwait hospital. She received medical degree from faculty of medicine, Kuwait university and Board certified in diagnostic imaging at Royal collage of surgeons in Ireland. Dr. Shatha completed her fellowship in breast imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Center, New York, USA.

Dr. Shatha has more than 20 years experience in breast imaging diagnostic and intervention. She was member in Kuwait National Screening Program.

Benign and malignant breast conditions using 2D and 3D mammography, contrast-enhanced mammography and ultrasound imaging

Performing breast tissue biopsies under ultrasound and guidance, stereotactic guidance.

Screening and assessment of high-risk patients, including those with hereditary genetic mutations

Interpretation of breast magnetic resonance imaging for various breast disorders, tumors, and silicone implant evaluation

Non-surgical excision of small benign breast masses using local anesthesia

Placement of fine localization wires for non-palpable breast lesions under diagnostic imaging guidance (ultrasound or mammography)
