Dr Ihab Abdlaziz is a Consultant in Critical care medicine and anaesthesia in Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust in London- UK .His interests include Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Critical Care, echocardiography including TOE, peri-operative care, trauma and medical education.
Dr Abdlaziz works on both the general and specialized intensive care units as well as providing anaesthesia for all specialties of surgery. He held senior managerial and educational roles including Clinical Director of Critical Care, undergraduate education lead in Anaesthetics and Critical care and lecturer of Anaesthesia and Critical Care. He is currently an honorary senior lecturer (Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine- King’s College London), Examiner in European Society of Anaesthesiology (Brussels) and Royal College of Anaesthetists (London) plus being a medical examiner (RCPathME) in south-east London.

Dr Abdlaziz graduated from Cairo University faculty of medicine and has undertaken full training, master and MD degrees in anaesthetics , critical care medicine and pain management in Egypt. He again undertaken full training in imperial deanery in London and obtained European Diploma of Intensive Care (EDIC), European Diploma of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (EDAIC) and Fellowship of Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA). Due to his contribution in medical education, he was honored with membership of Academy of Medical Educators (MAcadMed)..
