Dr. Asmahan is a consultant in Anesthesia, Intensive Care, and Pain Medicine, with extensive expertise in managing both acute and chronic pain. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) from Glasgow University, UK, in 1992, and obtained full registration with the General Medical Council in 1993. She further completed fellowships in Anesthesia and Intensive Care (1996) and Acute and Chronic Pain (2006) in the UK.
Currently, Dr. Asmahan works as a Consultant at Ibn Sina Hospital (since 2010) and Ahmadi Hospital (since 2017) in Kuwait. She also serves as the Head of the Pain Unit at Ibn Sina Hospital, leading advancements in pain management.
Her extensive experience and leadership have established Dr. Asmahan as a respected expert in her field.
