Biography

Dr. Ahmad Ameer, a Consultant in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Kuwait Hospital, is dual board-certified in General and Vascular Surgery from McGill and Ottawa Universities. He introduced hybrid interventions and complex aortic endovascular repairs in Kuwait, including the first aortic arch branched repair in the Middle East. Trained by Dr. Marco Manzi and Dr. Mariano Palena in Italy, he specializes in complex peripheral and pedal interventions. Dr. Ameer also heads the Vascular Surgery Unit at Jaber Al Ahmad Hospital and the Vascular Surgery department at Kuwait Hospital.
