Dr. Ahmad T Dehrab is an American Board-certified Rheumatology Senior Specialist currently practicing in the state of Kuwait at Kuwait Hospital. He graduated with Bachelor of Surgery, Medicine and Obstetrics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. After earning his MD, he went on to work and train in the United States, where he successfully completed 3 years of Internal Medicine Residency at the Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami, followed by a 2-year Fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Miami. During his years working in the United States, he collaborated on many projects including a multi-center study (Johns Hopkins, University of Miami, Cleveland Clinic and Brigham & Women’s Hospital) looking at rates of serious infections in HIV-infected patients receiving TNFa inhibitor therapy for concomitant autoimmune diseases.
