Biography

Dr. Jafar Husain, MD, is a distinguished pediatrician specializing in pediatric and congenital cardiology, currently practicing at Kuwait Hospital and serving as an attending physician at the Chest Disease Centre in Sabah Hospital. Dr. Husain earned his medical degree from University College Dublin, Ireland, and completed his residency at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He furthered his expertise in pediatric and congenital cardiology through training at King’s College, London, UK.

Throughout his career, Dr. Husain has been actively engaged in research and has contributed significantly to the field. He has also played a pivotal role as a supervisor for pediatric cardiology residents at KIMS. Currently, Dr. Husain leads the pediatric department at Kuwait Hospital, where he provides comprehensive care for children with both general and cardiac conditions.
